I don't need Corel Painter 2021 because I already have Clip Studio Paint Pro and tend to prefer anime-style drawing. And for the PaintShop bundle, it also has AfterShot Pro 3 so I guess maybe it's better in terms of photo editing and management. I've already decided to buy Affinity Designer so I think Affinity Photo would better integrate with Designer. I don't need to edit photos that much but I see there is a technique called photobashing maybe I can leverage. I imagine I'll be more likely to draw vector-based art so actually, I'm not sure to what extent pixel-based software will help. I just started to make simple art so I don't really know what I'll need in the near future.
And my goal isn't to be a game artist but a game designer. I'm not a professional but just a student of design major. My use case I think will be mainly for game art, especially for game UI.
